Our Story

Welcome to Brooklyn Instant Film Initiative, where creativity meets collaboration. We believe in the transformative power of playfulness:  our workshop is a dynamic fusion of experimentation and process,  enabling us to develop solutions for the creation of captivating imprinted photographs.

We launched our original 35mm series: BKIFI Films in 2019, embracing the belief that analog photography is a joyful adventure. Each roll of film contains more than emulsions; they're infused with wonder to transform the entire image-making experience.
